These organisations might well be able to help you with a variety of grants, advice and services \u2013 and, as significant public or member bodies,  they tend to keep their information up to date! So, for monetary help, general support, technical advice, training, sports club listings etc\u2026..check them out, there\u2019s so much help offered within these sites!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Surrey Playing Field\u2019s<\/strong> volunteers have been supporting sport and protecting playing fields in the county since 1927. They offer loans for projects, as well as small grants and bursaries<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Active Surrey<\/strong>\u00a0are the lead sports and active lifestyle organisation for the county. They offer a wide range of resources, services and events and, usefully, they keep an up-to-date list of potential grant sources.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Surrey County Council<\/strong> are responsible for tourism initiatives in the county, but includes major cycling and health promotion events in Surrey. They offer an annual community grant awards scheme and Members of Surrey County also have a monetary allowance for community initiatives, so look out for your own local county councillor<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Waverley Leisure<\/strong> are useful for local sport, leisure and healthy lifestyle events and strategic support. If you want to find out about local sporting opportunities, they include on their website a link to community leisure centres and all sports clubs in and around the borough of Waverley<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Sport and Recreation Alliance<\/strong> is the representative body for many of the major sports organisations in the country. It\u2019s useful to sign up to their newsletter featuring useful updates on sporting issues.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Sport England<\/strong> are the lead organisation for sport in the country, with loads of sporting initiatives and policy information and, if you have a sporting project, their free technical guidance notes just could be invaluable<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Farnham Town Council<\/strong> supports the work of the sports council and they can offer grants for community projects. They also coordinate the Farnham Neighbourhood Plan which affects recreational open spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other organisations who might be able to support or guide you are your local town council (check out their website) or the governing body for your sport (their website will provide you with lots of information about the sport you\u2019re interested in).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
